IRRESISTIBLE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup jiff creamy peanut butter
  • ½ stick Crisco
  • 1 ¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 34/ cups plain flour
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ¾ tsp baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 3750F. Place sheets of foil on countertop for cooling cookies. Combine jiff, Crisco, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Beat egg into creamed mixture. Combine flour, salt, and soda. Mix into creamed mixture just until blended. Drop by heaping tablespoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Flatten slightly in a crisscross pattern with tines of fork. Bake one sheet at a time for 7-8 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet and move to foil to cool.
