Ingredients
- Cream Filling:
- Cake
- 3/4 C Cocoa Powder
- 1 1/2 C Sugar
- 1 1/2 C Cake Flour (Reg Flour: remove 3T Flour, replace with 3T Cornstarch)
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/4 t salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 C Oil
- 1 C (8oz) Sour Cream
- 2 t vanilla
- 1/2 C hot water (from Keurig)
- 1 C milk Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 C Butter, Softened
- 1/4 C Crisco
- 2 1/2 C powdered Sugar
- 2 T Heavy Cream
- 2 t vanilla
- Chocolate Buttercream:
- 3/4 C Butter, Softened
- 1/2 C Cocoa
- 1 t vanilla
- 4 C Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 C Cream

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Blend Dry cake ingredients. Add wet ingredients (except for hot water). Blend. Add chocolate chips and hot water. Blend.
Bake 25-35 minutes
Cream Filling: Cream butter and Crisco. Add vanilla. Add 1 C powdered sugar and 1 T cream, alternately, ending with last 1/2 C sugar. (If you refrigerate, you can't spread it after 20 minutes without letting it soften,)
Chocolate Buttercream:
Cream butter. Beat in cocoa and vanilla. Add powdered sugar and alternate with cream.
Frost and Chill.
