Hard Apple Cider Floats

risk, cool air, crunchy leaves ­and—oooh—do you smell that? That’s apple cider everything, and we just can’t get enough. So put on your favorite flannel, because we have the perfect two-ingredient dessert you’ll want as soon as you come home from the pumpkin patch: Apple cider ice-cream floats.

They’re refreshing and crisp but will satisfy your sweet tooth and, most importantly, give you all the fall vibes.

Ingredients

  • Ice Cream (vanilla, pumpkin, etc.)
  • Favorite Cider (hard or non-alcoholic) Crispin is good, or extra-sweet JK's Scrumpy Hard Cider
  • Garnishes: salted caramel topping, sliced apples, whipped cream or a dash of cinnamon.

Preparation

Step 1

Place a few scoops of ice cream into a wide glass. Plain old vanilla is one way to go or you can opt for something festive like Talenti Pumpkin Pie Gelato. Then grab your favorite cider (hard or non-alcoholic) and pour over the ice cream. For something extra sweet, we love JK’s Scrumpy Hard Cider or go for a drier taste with Crispin.
