Simple Roasted Salted Brussel Sprouts

A simple recipe for slightly sweet and salty Brussels sprouts. Leftovers can be reheated or eaten straight from the fridge for a tasty and nutritious snack.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. brussel sprouts, organic
- 3 tbs. olive oil, extra virgin, unrefined and unfiltered, organic
- 1 tsp. sea salt, unrefined and pure
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper, ground, organic

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Trim Brussels sprouts and remove yellow leaves.
Place all ingredients in a resealable plastic bag. Seal tightly, and shake to coat.
Pour onto a baking sheet, and place on center oven rack.
Roast in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, shaking pan every 5 to 7 minutes for even browning.
Reduce heat when necessary to prevent burning. Brussels sprouts should be darkest brown, almost black, when done.
Adjust seasoning with salt, if necessary. Serve immediately.
