Ingredients

  • 1

    pint (2 cups) heavy whipping cream

  • 1

    cup sugar

  • 1/2

    cup flour

  • dash of salt

  • 1

    tsp. vanilla

  • 1

    unbaked deep dish pie crust.

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix sugar, flour and salt until no lumps. Very carefully mix in cream and vanilla, but do not beat. Add vanilla. Pour into pie crust. (optional: can brush pie crust with a water/egg mixture before baking). Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, then cut heat to 350 degrees and bake until set (approx. 30 minutes). Top with a mixture of sugar/cinnamon, or sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
