Ingredients
- Thin (1 1/2 c.):
- 1 T. butter
- 1 T. flour
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- Medium (1 c.):
- 2 T. butter
- 2 T. flour
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 c. milk
- Thick (1 c.):
- 3 T. butter
- 4 T. flour
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 c. milk
- Directions:
- ●Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
- ●Blend in flour, salt and a dash of white pepper. Add milk all at once.
- ●Cook quickly, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles.
