Ingredients
- 2 cups chicken breast, shredded
- 1/2 cup whole grain mustard
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 cup basil leaves, torn
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4-6 pita bread halves
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the chicken, mustard, honey, basil, bell pepper, lemon, salt, red pepper flakes, and salt.
Spoon the mixture into the pita bread halves to desired fullness and serve.
