Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 12 tablespoons cold butter, cut into cubes
  • 4 teaspoons vegetable shortening, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup cold water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour, salt, sugar, and butter and shortening into bowl of your food processor or bowl and mix until the mixture starts to form a dough. Add more water if needed.

Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface and quickly shape into large ball. Separate into small round pastry. Wrap in Saran Wrap for 30 minutes. Roll out on floured surface and shape into pie crust. Fill and bake.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes until lightly brown.
