Ingredients
- 4 C. milk
- 1/2 C. brown sugar
- 2 T. melted butter
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 2 C. old fashioned or steel-cut oats
- 2 C. apple, chopped
- 1 C. raisins
- 1 C. walnuts, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Coat the inside of a 3-4 quart slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker and mix well. Cover and cook on WARM or LOW setting overnight or 7-8 hours. In the morning, stir well. You may need to add more milk if oatmeal is too thick. BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVERCOOK. Refrigerate any leftovers.
