Ingredients

  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1 (12 oz) package extra wide egg noodles
  • 4 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 2 cans (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • celery and carrots (optional)
  • 1 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

1. Bring chicken broth to a boil and add noodle, poultry seasoning and onion salt.
2. Cook noodles in broth for 6 to 8 minutes until tender.
3. Add chicken to broth/noodles.
4. Mix in condensed soup until smooth and creamy.
5. Stir in sour cream just before serving.
