This recipe could be a bit over played by so many different cheeses.
Definitely needs the cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar and a little pizza type cheese. Could use any mild white cheese instead of mozzarella.
Easy with the basil, it can over power everything.

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese (softened, room temperature)
  • 1/4 c sour cream
  • 1/4 c mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 c cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp fresh basil (chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 tsp each, salt & pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 14 oz can artichoke hearts (drained and chopped)
  • 1 c fresh spinach (chopped)
  • 1/8 c Parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 c Romano cheese

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (176 degrees C) and butter your small casserole or baking dish.
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth, then add the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix to combine, then fold in the artichoke hearts and chopped fresh spinach.
Transfer the dip mixture into your buttered baking dish and top with your Parmesan and Romano cheeses. Bake at 350 degrees F (176 degrees C) for 30 minutes, or until bubbling and golden. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
