POPPY SEED BREAD

Ingredients

  • 3 cup flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp salt
  • 1-1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2-1/4 cup sugar
  • 1-1/2 tsp almond flavor
  • 1-1/2 tsp butter flavoring
  • 1-1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1-1/2 TBS poppy seeds
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1-1/2 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

1. Oven 350 degrees. Grease and flour loaf pans.
2. By hand, combine unsifted flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.
3. Add almond, vanilla and butter flavorings, poppy seeds, eggs, oil and milk. Mix well.
4. Pour batter into 2 loaf pans. Bake 1 hour. If using mini loaf pans or cupcakes, bake 25-30".
