Oatmeal Raisin or Apple Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 c. softened butter
• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
• 4 eggs
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 2 1/2 c. flour
• 2 tsp. baking soda
• 3 tsp. apple pie spice
• 1 tsp. salt
• 5 1/2 c. rolled oats
• 2 c. golden raisins or chopped apples
• 1 c. chocolate chips (optional)or caramel bits of making apple cookies

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugars and butter. Add eggs, vanilla, baking soda, apple pie spice and salt and beat well. Add flour and rolled oats and mix well. Add raisens and chocolate chips. Using large scoop will make a big cookie. Bake at 374° until golden brown.
