Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 egg
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate (melted)
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. light corn sytrup
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening, sugar and egg. Stir in syrup and chocolate. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Chill 1 hour, then roll 1/8" thick and cut into shapes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes at 350°.
