Autumn Sangria with Pinot Noir and Apple Cider

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine (we chose pinot noir)
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1 chopped apple
  • 1 chopped pear
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • Cinnamon Spice Rim Sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1-2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • a pinch of ground cloves or nutmeg (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

2.Combine all the ingredients together in a large pitcher and place in the refrigerator. Let sit overnight or several hours and serve cold. Optional: Serve over ice in a rimmed glass (see our recipe for spiced rim sugar below).
