Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cup quick cooking oats (or 2 3/4 cup old fashioned oats)
  • 1/2 cup Splenda + 1 tablespoon splenda blend (it has brown sugar) or use 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup white (golden) raisins
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 2-3 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 1/3 cups milk
  • 4 egg whites (lightly beaten) or 1 cup egg product
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. canola oil

Preparation

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 350.

Combine oats, sugar, raisins, walnuts, salt and cinnamon. Mix well.

In separate bowl, combine milk, eggs, oil and vanilla. Mix well.

Combine wet and dry ingredients until blended together.

Pour into a 8x11 baking dish (sprayed with Pam). Bake 55-60 mins. (check at 50 mins) or until center is set and firm to touch. Cool slightly. Serve with warm milk or whatever you like on oatmeal.
