Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. warm milk
- 1 large baked potato, skin removed
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 egg plus 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- pinch of cardamon
- few drops butter flavoring
- 5 1/2 c. flour

Preparation
Step 1
Blend potato and milk in blender until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and 1 cup of flour and blend. Pour into mixing bowl with dough hook attached and add enough flour until dough is smooth and firm enough to handle. Let rise in a warm place until doubled. Make into small egg sized balls. Let rise. Flatten each ball and stretch into a triangle. Roll dough starting at longest end. Place on cookie sheet and curve slightly. Brush with a beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Let rise and bake at 375° until brown. Remove from oven and brush with butter.
