Ingredients

  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 # butter or margerine
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tarter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baing soda
  • 6 QT of popped popcorn

Preparation

Step 1

Pop the corn and place in a sprayed large foil roaster pan. Bring first 5 ingredients to a boil.
Stir constantly until mixture reaches 260 degrees. Remove from heat and add baking soda and mix throughly and quickly. Pour over popped corn and mix well. Place in a 200 degree oven and stir every 15 min. for 1 hour. cool and separate and place in sealed container or zip bags.
