    cups light brown sugar

  • ½

    cup light corn syrup

  • ½

    # butter or margerine

  • ¼

    tsp cream of tarter

  • 1

    tsp salt

  • 1

    tsp baing soda

  • 6

    QT of popped popcorn


Pop the corn and place in a sprayed large foil roaster pan. Bring first 5 ingredients to a boil. Stir constantly until mixture reaches 260 degrees. Remove from heat and add baking soda and mix throughly and quickly. Pour over popped corn and mix well. Place in a 200 degree oven and stir every 15 min. for 1 hour. cool and separate and place in sealed container or zip bags.
