Ingredients

  • 1/3

    cup butter

  • 3

    mashed bananas

  • 2/3

    cup sugar

  • 2

    eggs, beaten

  • 2

    T dark corn syrup

  • 1 3/4

    cups all-purpose flour

  • 2

    tsp. baking powder

  • 1/2

    tsp. salt

  • 1/4

    tsp. baking soda

  • 1/2

    cup chopped walnuts

  • Fresh strawberries (optional)

  • Sprigs fresh mint (optional)

Directions

Grease and flour inside of slow cooker. Beat butter in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until fluffy. Gradually beat in bananas, sugar, eggs and corn syrup until smooth. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in small bowl, stir to blend. Beat flour mixture into banana mixture. Add walnuts; mix thoroughly. Pour batter into slow cooker. Cover, cook on HIGH 2 to 3 hours. Cool completely; turn bread out onto large serving platter. Garnish with strawberries and fresh mint, if desired.
