Ingredients
- salt
- pepper
- evoo
- filet mignon from fairway, ask for butcher to trim, cut, and tie it.
Preparation
Step 1
1. Let Filet sit out for 45 minutes before grilling
2. rub on evoo, S&P
3. Heat grill on high with lid closed for 20 min before grilling.
4. Grill steak with lid closed for 4-5 minutes on each side-make sure steak is not to soft to the touch or to stiff (Hand test)
5. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving
**Serve with a nice marinade grilled shrimp and sauté spinach
** If 1.5 inches thick 5 minutes of each side (may need 6 depending on grill.
