Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 4 tbsp. unsalted butter, softened

in a medium saucepan, heat the cream until bubbles appear around the edge; remove from the heat. add the chocolate and stir until melted. stir in the butter until smooth. let the frosting cool, then beat with a wooden spoon until slightly thickened.
