Sugar Cookies for Christmas

Ingredients

• 1 cup Country Crock® Spread
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 large egg
• 2 teaspoons. vanilla extract
• 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• Decorating Sugar
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 tablespoon each red and green sugars

Preparation

Step 1

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and prepare cookie sheets
Beat Country Crock® Spread and sugar in a large bowl until fluffy
Add egg and vanilla, mix well
In a small bowl, combine dry ingredients
Gradually add to the wet mixture
Drop cookie dough using a cookie dough scoop onto cookie sheet
In a small bowl, combine sugar with red and green sprinkles or sanding sugar
Dip bottom of glass into water, then into sugar mixture, then flatten cookies
Bake for 10-14 minutes or until cookies are set and lightly brown
