Chocolate Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Preparation

Step 1

In double boiler melt chocolate & butter together. Combine corn syrup & sugar. Simmer 2 minutes in a separate pan. Add chocolate mixture & cool. Add salt to eggs stirring constantly & add gradually to chocolate mixture. Blend in vanilla & nuts. Bake 375* for 35 minutes.
