Ingredients
- Flat Chicken Breasts
- Olive Oil to coat pan
- 3 TBS Butter
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 4 Cloves Garlic, Diced
- 2 TBS Flour
- 1 C Milk
- 1/4 C Cream
- 1/2 C Chicken Broth
- Lemon Juice (3-4 TBS)
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a pan, Season chicken with salt and pepper...sear each side until browned (5 minutes each side, if that.) Remove to a plate.
Reduce heat to medium, add butter, garlic, salt and pepper for about 1 minute. Add flour, coat, and cook 1 more minute.
Stir in milk/cream and broth until no lumps remain. Boil, reduce to simmer and return chicken to pan . Simmer until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens. Add lemon juice to sauce.
