Ingredients

  • 1/2 c roasted red peppers
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 c low sodium tomato sauce
  • 2 T EVOO
  • 1 t dried Italian seasonings
  • 1/4 t red pepper chili flakes

Preparation

Step 1

Drain red peppers & measure 1/2 c (approximately 2 whole peppers).
Place peppers & garlic in food processor or blender & process until smooth.
Add tomato sauce, oil & Italian seasonings. Process until well blended.
Ready to use on pizza, pasta or as a replacement for tomato sauce in recipes.

May be refrigerated 2-3 days or frozen until ready to use.
