Ingredients
- Icing:
- 4 C + 2 T flour
- 2 t baking powder
- 1 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 t salt
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 2 C sugar
- 2 t van x
- 4 eggs, room temp
- 2 C buttermilk
- 2 C mini choco chips
- 1 1/3 C heavy cream
- 1 t espresso powder
- 1 C sugar
- 6 oz unsweetened choco
- 1 stick + 2 T unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 t van x
- 1/8 t salt

Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt. Set aside. In mixing bowl, mix butter, sugar, van. Add eggs. Alternate adding flour & buttermilk. Mix in choco chips. Bake in two round pans til toothpick comes out clean.
For icing:simmer heavy cream, espresso & sugar in med saucepan & simmer. In separate bowl, add choco, butter, van & salt. Pour hot cream mix over choco in bowl & stir til chocolate melts. Let cool,them mix til thick.
