Ingredients
- 4-5 pound roast
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 (14-ounce) bottle of ketchup
- 2 tbsp liquid smoke
- 4 tbp worchestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 dash tobasco (optional)
- 1 (10-ounce) coke, or 1 1/4 cup
- 1 cup liquid from cooked meat
Preparation
Step 1
Rub roast with brown sugar. Put in crock pot and add water. Cook on low for 10 1/2 hours. Remove roast and drain, reserving 1 cup of the liquid. Shread roast with fork and place back in the crock pot.
Mix ketchup, liquid smoke, worchestershire sauce, mustard, brown sugar, tabasco, coke and 1 cup of the reserved liquid. Pour over meat and cook on low for another 4-5 hours.
