Raspberry Sauce

  • 2 packages (12-ounces each) frozen raspberries
  • 3/4 cup sugar

NOTE: Two hours to chill in refrigerator.
PREP: 10 MIN., COOK: 15 MIN., CHILL: 2 HR.

1, Cook raspberries and sugar in a 3 1/ 2-qt. saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until sugar is melted.
Increase heat to medium, and cook, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes.
Remove from heat, and pour through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a bowl, pressing with back of a spoon.
Discard solids.
Chill 2 hours.
(Mixture will thicken as it cools.)
