Green bean salad

I substitute frozen corn and peas...and I used kitchen slice canned green beans-wax beans would be nice too but I could not find them

Ingredients

  • 15 oZ green beans drained
  • 15 oz can of peas drained
  • 15 oz can whole kernel corn drained
  • 1 4 oz jar pimentos (I used chopped roasted red peppers instead)
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 stalks celery chopped
  • 1 bell pepper chopped any color
  • 1/2 c vege oil
  • 1 c distilled white vinegar
  • 1 c white sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • I also added a small can of sliced black olives

Preparation

Step 1

combine vegetables in a large bowl
in a small bowl mix together oil vinegar and sugar
pour over veggies and stir to coat
refrigerate covered 4 hours or overnight
