Chocolate Chip Nut Meringues

Ingredients

  • 2 large egg whites
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup (1 bag; 6-ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies®
  • 1 cup nuts, toasted chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, gradually add sugar, salt and vanilla.
Add chocolate chips, Rice Krispies and nuts and stir in.
Cover 3 cookie sheets with aluminum foil.
Drop cookies by teaspoons on cookie sheet.
Place all cookies in the hot oven and turn oven off. Leave in oven overnight.
