- 1
Ingredients
- 1 can (14-ounces) condensed milk, sweetened
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 stick (2-ounces) butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 jar (12-ounces) peanut butter creamy
- 1 cup marshmallows, miniature (a little more if you like)
Preparation
Step 1
Lightly butter or spray with Pam a 7-inch x 11-inch pan (9-inch by 9-inch pan will do). Next line the pan with parchment paper or wax paper and lightly butter the paper (if you have neither, just lightly butter pan so the fudge won't stick).
In heavy sauce pan: mix condensed milk, sugar, and butter. Cook over low-medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture just begins to boil (scalds). Make sure sugar is dissolved {sugar dissolves at 180 degrees F.} by washing down sides with watered brush. Important that all sugar grains are dissolved so fudge is not grainy.
Remove from heat and immediately stir in vanilla, marshmallows, and peanut butter. Stir just until all is melted and blended.
Pour into prepared pan. Let cool. When cool and thickened remove from pan and cut into desired size squares.
The only peanut butter fudge!!!!!!
