Ingredients

  • 3 medium apples, peeled, cored shredded
  • 1 can (14 1/2-ounces) crushed pineapple with the juice
  • 1 can (6-ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 15 ounces water**
  • 1 small (can or package of frozen) coconut flakes
  • cherries, optional
  • mandarin orange slices, drained, optional

Preparation

Step 1

**Reduce to 12-ounces water for thicker ambrosia.
Mix all, cover and refrigerate.
Typically served with pound cake.
