CHOPS****Slow-Cooker Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 2 thick pork chops, approx 250g each
- seasonings of choice - peppercorns, herbs, onions, garlic, whatever you like
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup liquid of choice - chicken broth, beef broth, beer, etc.
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 tablespoon unsalted butter
Preparation
Step 1
Season the chops and put them in the slow cooker, with seasonings, and enough liquid to just barely cover and cook until they are tender - overnight on simmer.
Just before serving, pat the chops dry and sauté in a skilled with the oil and butter until caramelized.
Serve with a sauce or gravy, if desired or simply as is.
