Texas sheet cake

Dana's Texas Sheet cake

Ingredients

• 2 sticks salted butter
• 1 cup water
• 4-tbsp cocoa
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp soda
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• ICING
• 1 stick oleo (melt)
• 4 tbsp cocoa
• 4 tbsp milk
• 1 box 10xsugar
• 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix and bring to boil:
2 sticks salted butter
1 cup water
4-tbsp cocoa

then add:
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
1/2 cup sour cream

pour into greased 11 x 17 cake pan.
bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes until done.

ICING:
1 stick oleo (melt)
4 tbsp cocoa
4 tbsp milk
1 box 10xsugar
1 tsp vanilla
spread on warm sheet cake
