Ingredients

  • Meatballs:
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup to 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup Chili Sauce
  • Sauce:
  • 1 12oz Jar Chili Sauce
  • 1 16-18 oz Jar Grape jelly
  • 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • dash of kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Mix meat and eggs, 1/3 cup chili sauce and 1/2 to 1 cup bread crumbs and form into 1 inch balls. They will be soft. Bake on a cookie sheet at 350 turning once for about 20 minutes.
Sauce- mix 1 jar chili sauce and and 1 jar jelly, tomato sauce , kosher salt and a little sugar and lemon juice to desired sweet and sour.
Heat sauce and partially cooked meatballs together for 30 minutes.
