Ingredients

    cups veggie broth or water

  • 3

    cups drained cooked or canned beans

  • 1/2

    tsp garlic

  • 4

    cups chopped kale, stems and center ribs removed lightly packed

  • 1

    tsp olive oil

  • salt, to taste

  • black pepper, to taste

  • Tabasco sauce, to taste

Directions

Combine beans, broth or water, and garlic in a large saucepan. Place chopped kale on top of beans and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until kale is tender, about 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in oil, salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce.
