Ingredients
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup mild
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- pinch of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cocoa
- french bread
- butter
- apples & cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
Preparation
Step 1
Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and cocoa.
Soak bread slices. Drain.
Melt butter in a skillet and toast each slice on both sides until golden.
Apples and cinnamon
Add butter and brown sugar in a skillet.
Cook about 3 minutes until melted.
Add water, cinnamon and apples.
Cook just until tender; about 8 to 10 minutes.
