Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jalapeno, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp each ancho chili powder, cumin and pepper
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 oz cream cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- desired toppings
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat grill to medium. In large bowl, combine beef, jalapeno, Worcestershire, chili powder, cumin, pepper and salt until evenly distributed.
Divide mixture into 8 patties and lay flat on clean work surface. Using your thumb, make indentations in center of 4 patties; divide cream cheese equally between indentations. Top each with remaining 4 patties and press around edges to seal.
Grill burgers 3-5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Serve immediately on buns with desired toppings. Refrigerate any leftovers.
