Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients

  • This recipe can be made with milk or dark chocolate depending on if you want a parav dessert.
  • Serves 8 - 10 and can be doubled.
  • 4 eggs
  • 7.5 ml brandy
  • 60 ml sugar
  • 200 g chocolate
  • 5 ml coffee in boiling water
  • 1 pkt Orley whip.

Preparation

Step 1

Melt chocolate and coffee mixture in a double boiler.
Separate eggs.
Mix yolks and sugar slowly. Add brandy and beat.
Add melted chocolate mixture and fold in.
Fold in beaten Orley whip.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Pour into a glass bowl and decorate with grated chocolate, strawberries OR crushed peppermint crisp.
