Ingredients
- CRUST:
- 1 3/4 cut sifted flour
- 1 T sugar
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 t ground cinnamon
- 3 T water
- 3 T wine vinegar
- 3 T butter
- 1 egg
- 2 T margarine, soft
- FILLING:
- 3 lbs. ricotta
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
- 1 t vanilla
- 3 squares chocolate, chopped
- 1/3 cup liquer
- 1 t cinnamon
- Pistachios
Preparation
Step 1
CRUST:
Combine 1 cup flour, sugar, salt and 1 tsp cinnamon. Make a well and add water and vinegar; beat in egg and butter; add flour; knead 8 minutes; refrigerate for 1 hour.
FILLING:
Combine ricotta, confectioners' sugar, vanilla, chocolate, liquer and 1 tsp cinammon. Chill.
Make 16 shells; fry shells at 375 degrees; cool and fill.
Dip in nuts.
