Carmelized Shallots

Step 1

Leaving paper skins on, cut shallots in half lengthwise. Drizzle olive oil on a small roasting pan.
Season pan with salt and pepper. Lay shallots cut side down on pan. Bake in 400 degree oven for 30-35 minutes.
