Eggnog

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 4 pints (8 C) milk
  • 1/2 pint Bourbon
  • 1 Tbl vanilla
  • Nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

In bowl, beat yolks with 1/2 cup sugar until thick. In another bowl, beat egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar til thick. In a third bowl, beat cream until thick. Add cream to yolks, fold in egg whites and add milk, Bourbon, vanilla and a pinch of nutmeg.

Chill and serve.
