Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • Garnishes:
  • 6 medium potatoes, finely sliced
  • 6 cups. water
  • 6 chicken bullion cubes
  • 1/2 cup. margarine
  • 1/2 cup. flour
  • 2 cups. carnation milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • grated cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, chives, onions

Preparation

Step 1

Bring water, bullion cubes and potatoes to boil in large soup pan. Cook until almost tender about 10 mins. In small skillet melt margarine. Add flour and stir with wooden spoon until smooth. Cook 3 mins, stirring constantly. Add to potato mixture stirring until mixed well. Add milk stirring well. Cook over low heat for 15 mins. Stir often, will stick to bottom. Add cheese and stir until mixed well. serve with garnishes.

Note:
You can use one Carnation Milk with 1/2 cup of water.
