Pecan Pie Surprise Bars

Ingredients

• 1 Yellow Cake Mix
• 1/3 cup. butter, softened
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup. brown sugar
• 1 1/2 cup. dark corn syrup
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup. pecans, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350*. Grease 13x 9" pan.
Reserve 2/3 cup. dry cake mix. In large bowl, combine until blended remaining dry cake mix, butter,1 egg.
Spread in pan. Bake for 15-20 mins or until golden brown.
In large bowl, blend at med. speed for 1 min. or until well blended, reserved cake mix, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, 3 eggs. Pour over baked base. Sprinkle with nuts.
Bake 30- 35 mins. until filling sets. Cool completely.
