Indonesian Vegan Bean Salad

A vegan bean and lentil salad with Indonesian-inspired spices.

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. // 100 g. red lentils, cooked (measurement is for the uncooked lentils)
- 1 can (~15 oz. // 425 g.) garbanzo beans, rinsed
- 1/4 t. // 1.25 mL ground cumin
- 1/4 t. // 1.25 mL ground coriander
- 1/2 - 1 t. // 2.5 - 5 mL paprika, cayenne and/or chipotle powder
- 1/8 t. // 0.625 mL ground ginger
- 1 pinch turmeric powder
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 T. // 15 mL shredded coconut
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 3 leaves basil leaves, finely diced
