Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
- 2 tsps. vanilla
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup quick rolled oats
Preparation
Step 1
Beat butter until creamy. Add sugar gradually. Beat until fluffy. Add vanilla, flour, salt. Blend in rolled oats. Shape dough into balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20 - 25 minutes @ 325 degrees, Cool on wire racks. Frost with confectioners sugar- add milk by drops. Top with colored granulated sugar or food coloring in confectioners sugar.
