Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Mix 1st three ingredients together and set aside. Melt butter in saucepan and remove from heat and cool. Stir in cocoa. Blend in sugar, vanilla and eggs. Blend in dry ingredients and nuts. Pour batter into greased 13X9X2 pan and bake for appox. 25 minutes. Cool.
Icing:
Blend 3 tbsp butter, 1/4 cup cocoa, 2 cups icing sugar, 1/4 cup milk and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Spread over cooled brownies.
