Ingredients
- Have ready as a paste:
- 2 tbs. cornstarch
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbs. soy sauce
- Melt in a heavy saucepan:
- 2 tbs. butter
- Add:
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth
- 3/4-1 cup diced green peppers
- 6 slices of diced canned pineapple
Preparation
Step 1
Cover and simmer for 5 min. Add the cornstarch paste and the following ingredients to the mixture:
1/2 cup vinegar
3/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 top salt
1/4 top ginger
Simmer, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
