Ingredients
- Preparation Time:15 minutes
- 2 cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (8 per can)
- 8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
- 1 4.5-oz. jar of sliced mushrooms, drained and finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg, beaten
- poppy seed
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together the cream cheese, chopped mushrooms, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce. Tear apart crescent rolls so that two triangles are still attached. Press the perforations together so that you have a rectangle. Spread a thin layer of the mushroom mixture over the crescent roll and roll up like a jelly roll. Cut into about 1" slices and place on baking sheet. Repeat until all crescent rolls and filling are used up. With a pastry brush, coat each roll with beaten egg, then sprinkle with poppy seed. Bake at directions for crescent rolls.
